OUR HISTORY

Hart Family Hotels was founded in 2012 by owner Troy Hart.  Hart Family Hotels creation & inspiration came from 15 years working for M.W. Hart Inc.  M.W. Hart Inc. has a 34 year history of managing, developing, and consulting in mid-west hotel’s. 

Hart Family Hotels is continuing in that tradition.

Troy Hart grew up in the hotel business, and at one time or another has done every job there is to do.  His father was able to grow his Hotel Company, and over a 34 year period built, owned, and operated 23 different Hotels in 5 States.

 

Troy went to South Dakota State, and earned his degree in Hotel & Restaurant Management.  After graduation he joined his father’s company and worked, learned, trained, and grew with him over a 15 year period.  In 2011, he got a chance to buy his 1st Hotel on his own.  After that 1st 6 months, he knew that he wanted to start his own Hotel Management Company, and Hart Family Hotels was born.

Hart Family Hotel’s now owns 6 hotels, and has several others aross the state of Iowa in planning stages.  Hart Family Hotels is always expanding and growing their company by putting the guest’s first.
